How did you achieve this look?
For my Valentines Day look I wanted to do something dramatic. For my eyeshadow I used the Morphe 35O2 Palette and stuck to red and dark brown shades to create a red smokey eye. For the glitter, I used red craft glitter and used lash glue to adhere it. I also used Kat Von Dee tattoo liner to create a wing, and applied 3D faux mink lashes. For the lips, I applied a brown liner and Stila Stay All Day Liquid lipstick. For my base I used a Fenty foundation!
What’s your go-to beauty look?
My go-to beauty look consists of defined brows, concealer, lip gloss, and lashes. I like to use makeup to accentuate the features I already have while also creating an effortlessly glam look!
What got you into makeup?
I’ve always been interested in art. As a child, I used to paint and draw a lot. As I got older, I started to use makeup as a way to express my artistic side. YouTube also got me further into makeup and taught me a lot of different techniques and styles.
What’s your favorite little-known makeup hack?
As a woman with a darker complexion, I’ve found it very difficult to find lip colors that flatter my skin. After years of avoiding them, I finally found something that worked for me! Now, before applying any lip color, I apply a brown lip liner to the perimeter of my lips and also fill them in a little. Then, I apply whatever color I like on top of the liner, but I make sure to focus the product to the middle of my lips.
What’s your holy grail product?
My holy grail product is definitely Makeup Revolution’s loose baking powder in “Banana”. This powder makes my under-eye bags disappear and brightens up my entire face!
What was your favorite ROCKET shoot?
My favorite shoot was “Slick” from SS19 , simply because I got to model and it was really fun!
