How did you achieve this look?

I woke up like this…

Just kidding! I did my everyday face makeup but I accentuated my blush for that flirty Valentine’s look. I used my Morphe 39S palette for a pink shadow with a little bit of glitter. Next, I drew on a pink graphic eyeliner but my look was still missing something. So, I decided to spice it up with some heart jewels on both my eyelids and blush area. I finished it off with a natural pink lipstick and voila!

What’s your go-to beauty look?

For my everyday look, I start off by doing my face makeup, which consists of foundation, powder, bronzer, and blush. Then, I do my eyebrows and pink/brown eyeshadow. I follow up by doing my winged eyeliner and mascara. I finish off everything with highlighter and lipstick.

What got you into makeup?

Backed with the support of my entire family, I started my makeup career at the age of five years old. This is not fake news, I promise! I started by playing around with my mom’s makeup, and once she bought me my own, I couldn’t stop experimenting. Over the years, I continued perfecting my skills and eventually discovered that doing makeup on myself and others was the perfect relaxation technique!

What’s your favorite little-known makeup hack?

Ever heard of Euphoria? If you want that glittery, jeweled-up look, go to Michael’s! I have packs and packs of small stick-on jewels and bottles of glitter that I love to incorporate into my looks. I have always resorted to unconventional methods to achieve the looks that I want.

What’s your holy grail product?

I LOVE the L’Oreal Rouge Signature Matte Lip Stain. Personally, I love lip stains because they stay on the whole day even if you eat the oiliest food you can imagine. This one from L’Oreal stole my heart because the formula is so lightweight and the color payoff is amazing. Oh, and did I mention how affordable it is??

What was your favorite ROCKET shoot?

My favorite ROCKET shoot was “The Skin You’re In” because when it comes to magazines, all you see is poreless, perfect skin. However, in this shoot, we focused on the imperfections that we all hide behind makeup. This was the first time I did makeup for a shoot and it was such a memorable introduction to ROCKET.
